   It whispers, “Sleep, the night is near,”
   And guards the dreams of children dear.
2. 2. Little Raindrop
   A raindrop travels from the sky,
   Falling gently from clouds so high.
   It taps the leaves with tiny feet,
   And sings a rhythm soft and sweet.
   It lands on earth with joyful cheer,
   “I bring fresh life to all down here!”
3. 3. The Brave Little Ant
   A tiny ant in a giant land,
   Carries crumbs with her steady hand.
   She works all day without a sigh,
   Beneath the shining summer sky.
   Her courage grows with every chance,
   A hero in her small ant dance.
4. 4. My Friendly Tree
   My friendly tree waves in the breeze,
   Whispers secrets through its leaves.
   Birds build nests within its shade,
   Flowers bloom where roots are laid.
   It stands beside me every day,
   A loyal friend in every way.

   A rainbow stretches across the sky,
   A colored smile from way up high.

   My kitten sings a morning tune,
   Soft as sun and bright as noon.
   She purrs a melody so sweet,
   A gentle rhythm at my feet.
   She dances lightly all day long,
   My furry friend with her own song.

   When evening comes, the sun grows slow,
   And dips beneath the hills below.
   It paints the sky in orange beams,
   And sighs a yawn of fading gleams.
   “Goodnight,” it says, “my work is done,”

   I found a feather soft and white,
   Floating gently, pure and light.
   It danced upon the breezy air,

   It whispered, “Come, explore with me,”

    Close your eyes and drift away,
    Let dreams come out to sing and play.

بچوں کی نظمیں (اردو)

1. ۱۔ چاند کی لوری
   چاند ہر شب نرمی سے گاتا،
   چاندنی سے دنیا کو سُلاتا۔
   تارے دھیرے دھن بناتے،
   جگنو ساتھ میں جگمگاتے۔
   چاند کہے: “سو جاؤ پیارو”،
   “خوابوں کے میں ہوں رکھوالو۔”
2. ۲۔ ننّھا قطرہ
   بادل سے میں نیچے آیا،
   پھولوں پر نرمی سے چھایا۔
   پتے پے ہلکی تھپ تھپائی،
   گھاس کو بھی جان جگائی۔
   کہتا ہوں میں پیغامِ خیر،
   “زندگی لاتا ہوں ہر دَم، ہر دِن، ہر پہر۔”
3. ۳۔ بہادر چیونٹی
   چھوٹی سی چیونٹی دن بھر کام،
   دِل میں ہمت، چہرے پہ جام۔
   ریتیلی راہوں پر چلتی جائے،
   دانہ دانہ گھر لے جائے۔
   کہتی ہے: “محنت میرا زیور”،
   “میرا دل ہے سب سے بہادر۔”
4. ۴۔ میرا پیارا درخت
   میرا درخت ہوا سے باتیں،
   پتے گائیں پیاری راتیں۔
   شاخوں پر چڑیاں خواب سجائیں،
   نیچے بچے کھیل مچائیں۔
   سایہ دے کر کہتا ہے یوں،
   “دوست ہوں میں سب کا کیوں!”
5. ۵۔ قوسِ قزح کی ہنسی
   بارش تھم کر مسکا جائے،
   آسمان رنگوں سے بھر جائے۔
   سرخ، سنہرا، نیلا، ہرا—
   جیسے خوابوں کا ہو نظارا۔
   کہتی قوسِ قزح یہ پیغام،
   “غم کے بعد ہی آتی ہے شام۔”
6. ۶۔ تاروں کی پکار
   تارے چمکیں کہانیاں لائیں،
   دور خلا سے پیغام سنائیں۔
   جھلمل جھلمل روشنی برسے،
   دل کے اندر امیدیں ترسے۔
   کہتے ہیں: “خواب سجا لو تم”،
   “اونچی اُڑان بھرا لو تم۔”
7. ۷۔ بلی کا گیت
   میری بلی گیت سنائے،
   نرمی سے لہرا کر آئے۔
   دن بھر کھیلیں، بھاگیں، گائیں،
   رات کو میرے پاس سو جائیں۔
   کہے: “دوستی ہے سب سے پیاری”،
   “میری خوشی تم سے ہی جاری۔”
8. ۸۔ سورج کا آرام
   شام ڈھلے سورج تھک جائے،
   پیلا رنگ افق پر چھائے۔
   آہستہ آہستہ ڈھلتا جائے،
   جیسے نیند اسے بہلائے۔
   کہتا ہے: “اَلوداع اے دن”،
   “کل پھر لاؤں گا روشن پن۔”
9. ۹۔ پر کا سفر
   مل گیا اک نرم سا پر،
   جیسے خاموشی کا ہو گھر۔
   ہوا میں اڑتا جھوم جھوم،
   جیسے کرتا ہو کوئی زمزمہ گرم۔
   کہتا ہے: “دیکھو دنیا بھاری”،
   “پھر بھی حیرت باقی ساری۔”
10. ۱۰۔ خوابوں کی رات
    آنکھیں موند کے خواب سنوارو،
    دل میں روشن چراغ اتارو۔
    تارے رہبر بن کر آئیں،
    شب کے رستے جگمگ جائیں۔
    کہتی رات ہے پیغام،
    “خوابوں میں بھی ملتا ہے آرام۔”

1. १. चाँद की लोरी
   चाँद हर रात गाना गाए,
   चुपके से जग को सुला जाए।
   तारे धीमी धुन सजाएँ,
   रात हवा से बात कराएँ।
   चाँद कहे, “सो जाओ प्यारे,”
   “सपनों में जग होगा तुम्हारे।”
2. २. नन्हा बूँद
   बादल से मैं नीचे आया,
   धरती पर हल्का गुनगुनाया।
   पत्तों पर धीरे चिटक लगाया,
   फूलों को मीठा चुम्मा पाया।
   कहता हूँ मैं हर बार यहीं,
   “बरस कर लाता हूँ खुशियाँ नईं।”
3. ३. बहादुर चींटी
   छोटी चींटी बड़ी सयानी,
   मेहनत उसकी सबसे सुहानी।
   दाना–दाना घर पहुँचाए,
   कभी न थकती, चलता जाए।
   कहती, “हौसला मेरा साथी,”
   “मैं ही जंगल की हूँ रानी।”
4. ४. प्यारा पेड़
   मेरा पेड़ हवा में डोले,
   पत्ते उसके गीत ही खोले।
   पंछी उसमें घर बनाते,
   छाँव तले बच्चे खिलखिलाते।
   पेड़ कहे, “मैं हूँ तुम्हारा,”
   “दोस्त पुराना, सदा सहारा।”
5. ५. इंद्रधनुष की हँसी
   हल्की बारिश जब थम जाती,
   रंगों की मुस्कान खिल जाती।
   लाल, हरा, पीला, नीला,
   जैसे प्रकृति गाए गीत नया-सीला।
   कहता है रंगों का ये पुल,
   “खुशियाँ आती हैं प्रतिपल।”
6. ६. तारों की पुकार
   तारे ऊपर चमक बिखेरें,
   दूर गगन से संदेश घेरें।
   रात में बातें फुसफुसाएँ,
   सपनों को उड़ना सिखाएँ।
   कहते, “डरना मत कभी,”
   “आसमान है सबका अभी।”
7. ७. बिल्ली का गीत
   मेरी बिल्ली गाना गाए,
   सुबह-सुबह मन को लुभाए।
   खेल-खेल में फुदकती जाए,
   थककर फिर गोदी में आए।
   कहे, “दोस्ती सबसे प्यारी,”
   “खुशियाँ तुमसे ही हमारी।”
8. ८. थका हुआ सूरज
   शाम ढले जब दिन हो जाए,
   सूरज धीरे घर को जाए।
   पीली रोशनी छितराए,
   नभ को सुनहरा कर जाए।
   कहे, “मैं कल फिर जग लाऊँ,”
   “नयी किरणें तुम्हें दिखाऊँ।”
9. ९. पंख की उड़ान
   पाया मैंने नरम पंख सफ़ेद,
   जैसे बादल की प्यारी भेंट।
   हवा में उड़ता घूमता जाए,
   नई दिशाएँ हर पल पाए।
   कहे, “चलो दुनिया देखें,”
   “हर मोड़ पर कुछ रंग लेखें।”
10. १०. सपनों की रात
    आँखें मूँदो, सपने बुनो,
    मन में नई उमंगें चुनो।
    तारे राह तुम्हारी देखेँ,
    चुपके से कहानी लेखें।
    कहें, “डरना मत, उड़ चलो,”
    “सपनों की दुनिया में घुलो।”
